Greetings from New Zealand

Dear students, greetings from beautiful New Zealand! I am having a great time here, the kiwis are really friendly people and the country is amazing... My kiwi school is nice and next week I'm starting to work with the students on our precious wiki, remember? They are going to work on it the following two months. I encourage you to continue working on it in your free time, so that kiwi students can appreciate your hard work!
I miss you all. Love from NZ
Elisa, your globetrotter English teacher

New Zealand, our antipodes

New Zealand is the furthest place in the world from Spain. This is what we call our antipodes. New Zealand is a beautiful, wild and exciting country consisting of two main islands and a number of smaller islands. This green country is full of mountains, lakes, woods and pastures. New Zealand has 40 million sheep and produces the finest wool in the world. Did you know that there are 10 sheep per person? Can you imagine why people from New Zealand are called "kiwis"? Did you know that the original inhabitants of the islands were the Maori people, who have their own strange language? Find out more information in the "Travel online section" on the orange column. Kia ora!
